CTU 2040 - Broadband Buried Construction

Prerequisite(s): CTU1050
The student will apply the process of planning and execution of buried fiber optic cable construction practices used in the broadband fiber optic industry. Student will learn to operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, directional drills, excavators, tractors, loaders, backhoes and other specialized construction equipment used in the broadband construction industry Student will load and unload machinery to safety specifications and secure loads to meet DOT regulations.
