ACC 2340 - Payroll Accounting

Prerequisite(s): ACC1100
Payroll Accounting is an introduction to the intricacies of preparing payroll, payroll reports and federal, state and local payroll tax reports. Students will calculate gross payroll, federal, FICA, state and local withholdings as well as retirement plan contributions, health insurance and various other deductions. Students will learn to process and produce computer-generated employee and employer payroll information and required reports for various taxing authorities. Offered (Fall)
