Program of Study
The Associate degree program will prepare students to enter the world of interactive multimedia, a rapidly evolving field that includes developing all aspects of digital media for electronic delivery including Web, Video, Photography, and Design. All Interactive Media students are introduced to Web Design, Photography, Videography, and other design and Internet technologies, centering on both usability and accessibility for a wide range of audiences.
The faculty has identified the following Learning Outcomes for all graduates:
- Utilize critical thinking skills to solve digital media technology issues.
- Construct and implement an Interactive Media Technology solution across several media modes.
- Produce operational level projects in each of the Interactive Media mediums.
- Determine and produce an organized rationale for using a specific medium to solve a specific digital media technology issue.
- Demonstrate applications of Interactive Media as it relates to industry.
- Design and create projects using interactive software authoring programs.
