HIT 2930 - Professional Practice Experience II

Co-requisite(s): HIT2570, HIT2900, & HIT2920
The second of two supervised professional practice experiences (PPE) designed to allow the student to apply technical knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to procedures performed in a healthcare setting, enabling students to obtain actual work experience. This professional practice consists of a predetermined number of hours at a facility providing health information along with service learning/volunteer hours. Assignments will be made to gain exposure to real-world health information practices. Offered (Spring)
