General Education Transfer Certificate

The General Education Transfer Certificate consists entirely of Ohio Transfer 36 (OT36) courses. OT36 courses are general education courses that are guaranteed to transfer to any public educational institution in Ohio. This certificate aims to equip students with a solid foundation in general education while exposing them to diverse disciplines, including fine arts, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and mathematics, among others.
Students are encouraged to consult with an Academic Advisor to ensure the courses selected for the General Education Transfer Certificate align with their intended major and fulfill the requirements of the four-year institution where they plan to complete their bachelor’s degree.

This certificate fulfills the requirements of Ohio Transfer 36 at all other Ohio public colleges and universities. * ENG 1020 Introductory College Composition 5 Credits may be taken in place of ENG 1050. ** Any OT36 Mathematics course 3-5 Credits. *** Any two OT36 Natural Science courses 3-4 Credits each. One of the courses must contain a lab. If not, a 1 Credit hour lab must be taken. |
