BIO 1240 - Anatomy and Physiology II

Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in BIO1230 & BIO1235
Co-requisite(s): BIO1245
This course is a continuation of BIO 1230. This course focuses on gross and microscopic structure and function of, as well as an emphasis on homeostatic control mechanisms of each organ system. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of anatomical and physiological aspects of the autonomic nervous system, endocrine system, blood and cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system, and reproductive system.
