BIO 1230 - Anatomy and Physiology I 3 Credit Prerequisite(s):Option1: “C” or better in CHM1010/1015 or placement exam and placement into MTH0500. Option2: High School biology, chemistry (both with lab), algebra I, and algebra II completed within the last five years earning no more than one C. Co-requisite(s): BIO1235 This course is the first course of the Anatomy and Physiology sequence. Provides an introduction to body organization, including structure/function relationships, homeostasis, and organizational levels. Gross and microscopic anatomy and physiology of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems are discussed. Lab course required. Offered (All)
