MTH 2411 - Applied Calculus 5 Credit
Prerequisite(s): Placement test, or “C” or better in MTH2310 or MTH2351 A course in differential and integral calculus with application to life and social sciences. Topics include function regression and modeling; limits and continuity; definition and evaluation of derivatives; higher order derivatives; applications of the derivative to graphing and optimization; implicit differentiation and related rates; definition, differentiation, and applications of exponential and logarithmic functions; definition and evaluation of definite and indefinite integrals; applications of the integral to economics; symbolic and numerical techniques of integration; improper integrals and applications; and solution and application of differential equations.
