ASL 1010 - American Sign Language I 4 Credit
An introduction to the fundamentals of American Sign Language using a functional notional approach. Primary attention is given to receptive skills and using the language in context. Areas of grammar covered include spatial referencing, WH-and yes/no questions, non-manual markers, classifiers, negative responses, sentences types, role shifting, and topic/comment structure.
