HCA 2300 - Health Care Finance

This course provides an overview of the business side of health care using practical and real-life examples of department financial management along with the study of financial problems and sources of reimbursement to health care organizations. Emphasis will be placed on the differences in the levels of accounting expertise among various sizes of healthcare facilities and the various stakeholders in the financing of health care.
