MET 2620 - Hydraulic Systems


3 Credits

This course provides a comprehensive study of hydraulic system components including pumps, cylinders, valves, lines, and fluids. Students will learn the operation of both manual and electrically controlled hydraulic directional, pressure, and flow control valves. Emphasis is placed on interpreting electrical and hydraulic symbols, as well as analyzing complete system diagrams. The course also covers component identification, theory of operation, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques for manual and electrically controlled hydraulic systems. Offered (Fall)
