A survey course, British Literature II is designed to provide students with an understanding of the historical and cultural conditions that influenced the development and formation of a substantial portion of British literature from the onset of industrialization to the present. The course provides a background for more in-depth understanding of and appreciation for British literature. It also employs several common techniques used to analyze a text.
