This capstone course serves as the culminating experience for computer Information systems students, bridging the transition from the classroom to the professional workforce. Through project-based assignments, students will integrate and apply technical skills gained throughout their studies while collaborating on real-world challenges that mirror industry expectations. Emphasis is placed on developing professional soft skills-including communication, problem-solving, and adaptability-that are essential for career success. The course also incorporates career readiness training such as portfolio development, resume refinement, interview practice, and professional networking strategies. In addition, students will explore emerging industry-recognized certificates and credentials to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving field. By the end of the course, students will compile a polished body of work, strengthened professional competencies, and a clear pathway to launch their careers in computer programming and related fields.
