The impact of internal and external environments upon the activities of a human resource manager. Special topics include job design, job analysis, human resource planning and recruitment, interviewing, resume writing, affirmative action, coverage of discrimination laws, training and development, performance appraisal, employee compensation, safety and health, and discipline in the work place.
