MED 2670 - Medical Assisting Procedures II

Prerequisite(s): MED2640 & MED2645
Co-requisite(s): MED2675
This course provides instruction in pharmacology, administration of medications, pediatrics, specialty examinations and procedures, nutrition, urinalysis, CLIA waived point of care testing, introduction to the clinical laboratory which includes phlebotomy, hematology, blood chemistry, immunology and medical microbiology. This course includes medical assistant as an office manager. Offered (Fall, Spring)
